Ramechhap airport is about 4 houWe will walk along the flat trail following the river Dudhkoshi, and after some ups and downs, we will reach Kenjoma, where we will have our lunch and some tea. rs' drive from Kathmandu, and we can easily reach it via jeep, van, or public bus. This 4-hour drive through the Araniko Highway is a beautiful road trip, during which you will witness the tropical green hills and cultivated lands along the magnificent Sunkoshi and Tamakoshi river coasts.
The first view of the mountain is the Khumbila mountain that you see as soon as you reach Lukla. The local Sherpa guides and porters will welcome us with a warm smile. We will rest for awhile at Lukla, have our breakfast or lunch. Then, we will begin your trek to Everest Base Camp. Today, we will trek from Lukla to Phakding. We will trek for about 2-3 hours to reach Phakding, where we will rest for the night.
Note: The flight will operate from Kathmandu to Lukla from March to May. In other months, particularly in low trek season and clear weather, direct domestic flights of 35 to 40 minutes are operated from Kathmandu to Lukla.
Today is the second day of our short Everest base camp trek. After an early morning breakfast, we start our hike to the everest base. Today, we will be descending around 300m and ascending around 300m before we reach our stop for the day, Namche Bazar.
Today’s trail consists of dense forests of pine, firm magnolias and rhododendrons. We will trek through the villages of Bengkar and Monjo and enter the premises of Sagarmatha National Park. Before entering, the authorities will check our permits. Your journey to the everest base camp officially begins from here.
After leaving the village of Monjo, we will come across the “double-decker” Hillary Suspension bridge. This is the last bridge to Namche bazar. The ascend after this bridge is tough, but the dense forest trail keeps you engaged and calm. If lucky, you may even witness Lophophorus, the national bird of Nepal. Along this route, you will also witness the magical views of Kusum Kanguru (6369m), Thamserku (6608m), Everest (8848m), and Nuptse (7879m).
The second day of Everest Base camp 7 days trek ends at Namche Bazar (3440m). Namche Bazar is a beautiful village located in the lap of the Himalayas that offers you rich Sherpa culture and magnificent views of mountains. Today is the third day of our short Everest camp trek, We start our morning with a delicious breakfast and start our hike to the Everest base. We will walk along the flat trail following the river Dudhkoshi and after some ups and downs, we will reach Kenjoma where we will have our lunch and some tea.
We will continue our ebc trek after some rest. Today, we will enjoy the beautiful view of the magnificent mountain, Mt. Amadablam and Mt. Everest. The view is really mesmerizing. We will continue our steep downhill trek to reach Phungithanga. From here, we will have our final challenging ascend to Tengboche. Here, we will be rewarded with a glimpse of Lhotse, Nuptse, Everest, and Ama Dablam.
In Tengboche, we will have a short evening tour to the oldest monastery in the Khumbu region. Then, we will conclude our third day of our 7 days short Everest Base camp trek and rest for the night in one of the lodges.
On our fourth day of the Everest Base camp short trek, we will head north, leaving Tengboche and crossing the Dudh Koshi River via a suspension bridge.on Our next stop in this trail is Orsho. We will walk downhill to a bridge that crosses Imja Khoja and continue our uphill hike for around 45 minutes before reaching Dingboche.
We end the fourth day of our seven-day short trek to Everest Base Camp in Dingboche, a beautiful village with great mountain views. We will rest here overnight. It is exciting to know that we will spend the night in the lap of Himalayan giants: Here, we will stop for a while to pay homage to the deceased Sherpas who lost their lives on Mt. Everest. Mt.Tawache, Ama Dablam, the north Pokalde (5741m), Kongma-Tse (5820m), and the high wall of Nuptse.
Day 05: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940 m/16,207 ft) : walking distance 4-5 hours, 700 meters ascent - 9 km
Today is the fifth day of our short Everest Base camp trek. After early morning breakfast, we will leave Dingboche and walk along the trail leading to the Dughla hamlet. From here, we will hike uphill and climb the terminal moraine of Khumbu Glacier. This climb lasts for about an hour.
From here, we will take the left trail to arrive at the memorial, Chukpilhara. Here, we will stop for awhile to pay homage to the deceased Sherpas who lost their lives to the Mt. Everest. Then, after a short descent, we will reach the beautiful village of Lobuche, where we will conclude our fifth day of a short Everest Base Camp trek.
Day 06: Trek from Lobuche to Everest base camp (5,364 m/17,598 ft.) & trek back to Gorakshep (5,170 m/16,961 ft.) & Trek down to Lobuche 4940m
As we begin our sixth day of Everest base camp trek, after morning breakfast we will leave Lobuche and begin the ascend. We will witness the magical view of Mt. Pumori today. On the lower slopes of Pumori, you can see a black ridge extending south as a peak. It is the famous Black Stone. From here, we will descend briefly to the sandy area of Gorakshep.
Now, we will have a challenging half an hour ascend through the rocky path and finally reach the Everest Base Camp.In clear weather, the highest Mountain, Changtse, Pumori, Nuptse, and Lhotse, can be seen before you.
After this encounter with Mt. Everest, we will spend some time at the Everest base camp, click some pictures and videos for your Instagram, and then descend to Lobuche via Gorakshep.
We conclude the sixth day of our short Everest base camp trek at Lobuche. Almost time to go home now!
0Day 07: Early morning Helicopter flies to Lukla from Lobuche and from Lukla, take a normal flight to Ramechhap or, if a flight is available, directly to Kathmandu. Flight hhelicopter flies to Lukla from Lobuche. Formby our: 15 Minutes or 35 min and drive to Kathmandu.
Today is the final day of our mesmerizing Everest Base Camp trek. Today we will fly back to Lukla in a helicopter.This ride is just about 15-20mins. We will spend our final day at Lukla before bidding goodbye to the giant mountains.
The next day, we will return to Ramechhap or Kathmandu by flight. If we get on a flight to Ramechhap, then we will drive back to Kathmandu which will be about four hours.

Best season

The sixth day this trek is the most challenging one.We must walk almost 8 hours on this day to reach the Everest Base Camp and return to Gorakshep. The day ends after we reach Lobuche.
Also, trekkers can face difficulties due to thinning air as we gradually hike to the Everest base. We will be gaining an elevation of approx. 500m -1000m every walking day. So as the altitude increases, trekkers may face altitude sickness problems as well. In addition, we cannot predict the mountain weather which is always changing. So, it is very essential for all to listen to guides properly.
For this Everest base camp short trek, we also advise you to practice cardio exercises like walking, running and swimming. Moreover, we should also be prepared mentally as the path to Everest base camp is remote and lacking facilities.
Elevation, trekking distance and walk per day
The highest altitude we will reach in this Everest Base Camp 7 days trek is 5364m. We will start this short trek to Everest from Lukla. Lukla is situated at an altitude of 2860m. And we will be covering an elevation of almost 500-1000m per day during this short ebc trekking. The maximum hours we will be walking is 7-8 hours which is the sixth day of our itinerary while there are less walking days (2-3 hrs) in our itinerary as well.
Altitude sickness
Although this Everest Base Camp short trek doesn’t have any complicated and exposed path, it still falls under the risk of altitude sickness.
We cannot predict who will experience altitude sickness whilst our short Everest base camp trek because it is condition that varies from one person to another. In order to avoid altitude sickness, we advise you to trek slowly at your own pace.
On the second day itself of this Everest Base Camp 7 days trek, we will reach Namche bazar which is situated at an altitude of 3440m. From here on, the altitude is only going to increase as we continue the path to the Everest base camp. So proper acclimatization is necessary. Ensure your body is hydrated and you should always ascend slowly at your own pace.

Food,Transportation and Accomodation

Required permit for short Everest Base Camp trek
All trekkers require a trekking permit fee to visit Nepal’s interior regions, which are not connected by highways. The Annapurna, Langtang, and Everest regions have recently been declared “permit-free” areas.
